Basically find what numbers don't differ in dumped textures and replace differing bits with zeros and insert it into texture.ini file with equal sign in front of it. In a texture pack I'm working on there are couple textures hashes I use to filter like this:ĩ09 707 and 808 tend to have varying numbers after that, but if they are inserted like that whenever I dump textures those textures won't be dumped anymore. This will be a clumsy explanation, but if filenames have a simillarity in them it's possible to filter them by inserting them into Texture.ini file. I also saw patches like this one, but have not tried them. I had to change the rendering to 4xPSP to get much better looks, and it was not too obvious. I wonder whether they should/can be filtered.Īctually, it would also help if you provide some info on the preferences and used for optimal visuals. Do NOT close any windows that pop up during the. Drag and drop your ISO into the patch.cmd file inside the zip folder. Then just copy that ISO file to your computer then unmount the drive pressing the note key again. Currently there is almost a thousand of them. The plugin will automatically make the ISO that you can mount as a virtual drive in a Windows OS. While it might be too early to consider, there are several very similar textures, which seem to be growing (e.g. Players with a copy of PlayStation Portable title Valkyria Chronicles 3 can now download a fan-made patch that translates the game into English, the patch's creators announced on their website. I completed January and February and this is what I ended up with: The Valkyria Chronicles 3 Fan Translation Project has been in development since February 2012. So what do you guys think? Should SEGA still localize the Unrecorded Chronicles or should it forever be Unrecorded (at least in the West)? Let us know in the comments below.(09-07-2021 12:04 AM)vit9696 Wrote: Sure. They could even decide to go for a crowdfunding project for the localization and it’ll most likely reach the goal within a matter of days. While the option to pirate the game is something that can tempt most people, it would still be nice for SEGA to release an official localization for it in order for us to support the series out in the West. The translation has been around for a long time so it should be quite easy to find it. However, all is not necessarily lost as one can always play Valkyria Chronicles 3 on the PSP in English fan translated text, this is assuming that these are people who don’t care if they have to pirate the game to play it. In fact, if they decide to release it for the PSVita, then it could probably be right up there with Persona 4 Golden as one of the best games the handheld could ever offer. It may nearly be a decade old but there are still plenty of Western fans of the Valkyria series who would undoubtedly support it if there ever to be an English localization. There is also a chance that we will also be introduced to returning characters from Valkyria Chronicles 3 and the game might just assume that we already know who they are or what they did. For those of you who are interested, there are 2 OVA episodes of Valkyria Chronicles 3 that can help give you an insight into what the game is about. Basically, our understanding of the lore and other elements that could affect the plot will be lacking. We also need to take into account that when Valkyria Chronicles 4 is released, there are going to be events that will be mentioned where we’ll have no way of knowing about their importance since their origin will be coming from Valkyria Chronicles 3. While the 1st was hailed as the best SRPG game of the PS3 according to the Guinness Book of Records, the 2nd fell short of the expectations of the developers, which in turn made them wary of localizing the 3rd game (though I honestly loved the 2nd from start to finish). The reason why the 3rd game was never localized was because of how poor the sales were for it’s predecessor Valkyria Chronicles 2. Valkyria Chronicles 3 is set around the same time as Valkyria Chronicles 1 except with an entirely different cast composed of criminals, foreign deserters, and military offenders which basically makes them outcasts of the Gallian military. I think I speak for everyone about how excited we all are for the upcoming Valkyria Chronicles 4! However, let’s not forget that there are still plenty of us who have yet to play for themselves the beautiful and incredibly amazing PSP game Valkyria Chronicles 3.
